And there we have it! A full year of doing these lists! This happens so rarely for me, so I’m not sure but… I feel like I committed to doing something, then followed through with it. Crazy to think of, eh?!?
I’ll work on the year end stats for tomorrow, but we still have one more month to wrap up before that! So…
The List
- An asterisk (*) indicates a first time viewing.
- Strike-through means I didn’t enjoy it enough to finish it.

Baseball time!
These are the “batting stats” compiled for the FIRST TIME watches. I give each movie a rating out of 5. 4.5 and up are home runs, 4s to 2.5s are hits, 2 and lower are field outs, an 0.5 (did not finish) is a Strike Out. This tells me how well of a job I’m doing at picking which movies to watch.
Good Movie Average: 20/25 – .800 even (Last month: .750)
Home Runs: 1 – Operation Condor: Armour of God Part II
Strikeouts: 0, but Rollerball came close as several scenes were skipped.

Just curious about why you thought Rollerball was the worst movie. The 2001 film of the same title was really bad.

Between doing 15 Youtube streams, being on Twitter, Facecrack, reading our blogs, buying a shit ton of music and watching movies do you guys ever sleep?
Back before Christmas we have a guy who comes and sells computers/Tv’s etc and they just deduct bi weekly off of our cheques for 2 years. Sure I pay a little more but really it’s already bought and paid for really. Anyhoo we bought ourselves an upgrade in TV so we got a 65 Inch Plasma 4K TV as we were still using our TV that was 10 years old..
Never knew until we got that sucker that the remote’s now comes with an actual Amazon Prime button, Netflix button.. What the hell?? lol
Been watching some documentaries on Prime. We just finished watching ‘The Last Narcos’ really good.
Amazing the amount of stuff you have watched.

The Last Narcos is on my list to watch! See, you’ve already seen something I haven’t, lol And I think my TV is only 60 inches. So you already have a better screen!
I think I’m going to do a post on my movie watching tips and tricks.

How do you have time for movies? I’m preoccupied with youtube and CDs nowadays that I hardly watch movies lol! I can’t believe you watched Silver Linings Playbook too (didn’t think it was your genre), though you gave it a low rating and I can’t say anything because I’ve never seen the movie, but yeah!

I watch all kinds of movies! Musicals are the only ones I’ll generally avoid. Sarah and I make the time to watch a movie every evening. It is our thing and they just add up. Do it once a day and you have seen 31 movies in 31 days. Maybe I should do a post with my tips for watching more movies…

Dark man with Neeson is a movie I really need to re-watch. It’s been a long time. I watched in the cinema and then on VHS rental and thought it was fantastic.
I also agree that Silver Linings Playbook is overrated

If you like Sam Raimi, Darkman is loaded with his charm. I really enjoyed it.
The wife and I were befuddled after watching Silver Linings Playbook. What was all that hype for?

Not sure on SLP. It feels like a movie that goes nowhere. I watched it once and read some reviews praising it and hating it and decided I didn’t need to watch it again. Lol.

Dang, another stellar list of movies watched. I have never heard of Operation Condor: Armour of God Part II, I might have to check that one out. Rollerball…yeah I’ll skip that even before you said it was the worst one.

I like cheesy ’70s sci-fi so I thought Rollerball would be in my wheelhouse, but I was wrong. They even remade it in 2002.

I am in favour of all of this, and flabbergasted you have time to watch this many movies in a month. Incredible.

That opening line made me chuckle. Watching flicks is supposed to be enjoyed. Watched ‘Sisters Brothers’ on the weekend. Enjoyed it. Had read the book a few years ago. I’d be interested in your take.
